Can Thai people go to Canada?
Yes. Thai people can go to Canada. Thailand is one of over 70 countries whose residents can visit Canada with an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) rather than a visa.
Thai citizens require a Canadian eTA to enter the nation for the following reasons:
- Holidays
- Visiting family and friends
- Business trips
- To receive medical treatment
Canada’s electronic travel authorization is multiple-entry. This means that Koreans can enter Canada several times using the same eTA over the 5 years that it is valid.
Only when the Canada eTA, or registered passport, expires does a Thai person need to reapply for the necessary authorization to fly to Canada.
Each stay in the nation cannot exceed the standard maximum duration of 180 days.
