Do Luxembourg Citizens need a visa for Canada?
No. People from Luxembourg don’t require a visa to travel to Canada. However, just like all the other visa-exempt nationalities, except for the nationals of Luxembourg, as a Luxembourg citizen, you must apply for a Canada ETA before departure
The Government of Canada has introduced new entry measures that will require all those traveling to Canada under the Canada visa waiver program to obtain an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) before boarding flights bound for Canada.
Effective March 15, 2016, travelers taking flights for Canada or transiting in Canada without a visa, will be asked to hold an eTA at the time of travel. Those who have not applied for an eTA may be denied boarding of flights.
The validity of the Canada eTA is five years or until the expiration date of the passport used to apply for the eTA
Luxembourg nationals who satisfy specific conditions can get a Canada ETA online in 24 hours. The Canada ETA is the quickest and most convenient way to enter the nation.
The Canada ETA application form requires only a few basic personal facts and passport information. Supporting documents are also available electronically.
