Do New Zealand citizens need a visa for Canada?
New Zealand is one of 50 nations that are free from Canadian visa requirements. This implies that New Zealanders do not require a visa to visit Canada.
However, if coming by plane and intending to stay for up to 6 months, they must have an authorized Canada eTA for New Zealanders.
For stays of more than six months, NZ nationals must get a Canada visa in advance from a Canadian embassy or consulate in New Zealand.
Furthermore, New Zealanders who visit Canada via the eTA do not have the right to reside or work in Canada. To visit for these objectives, they will also need to apply for a visa.
