How long is a Canada eTA for Korean passport holders valid for?
To enter Canada at one of its international airports, South Korean citizens are required to apply for a Canadian eTA.
South Korean visitors can stay in Canada for up to 6 months for vacation or business. Although the maximum stay authorized varies, most Korean nationals are able to stay for 180 days.
A South Korean passport bearer must also have an authorized Canada eTA in order to transit through a Canadian airport, even for brief layovers.
South Koreans who intend to stay in Canada for longer than six months or other reasons must get a standard Canadian visa.
