How long till the Canada eTA is approved?

The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for Canada is typically approved very quickly. In most cases, applicants receive approval within minutes of submitting their application online.  You should submit your application at least seven days before your travel date. If authorized, you will receive an email with a pdf. It has already been recorded against your passport in the Canadian immigration system.

However, there are instances where the approval process may take longer. In such cases, applicants might be asked to submit additional documents or information to support their application. It's important to ensure that all information provided in the application is accurate and complete to avoid delays.
