To travel to Canada from Denmark with an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), you can follow these steps:
- Apply for a Canada eTA: Complete the eTA application online through the Canada Immigration Services website. Provide your personal information and passport details, and answer the required questions accurately. Pay the applicable fee for the eTA application using a valid credit card. After submitting your eTA application and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with the status of your application. This process usually takes a few minutes, but sometimes, a decision may take a few days.
- Check approved eTA Status: Once authorized, your Canada eTA for Danish citizens will be electronically connected to your passport. While the airline or immigration authorities will be able to retrieve your eTA details during check-in or upon arrival at a Canadian port of entry, visitors should have physical copies or carry printed documents with them.
