Is it worth going to Niagara Falls without a passport?
Both the American and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls are breathtaking. Horseshoe Falls, located on the Canadian side of Niagara, is the biggest and most magnificent of the three waterfalls, accounting for 90% of the total flow!
If you travel to Niagara from the United States and are unable to cross the border, you will miss out on witnessing the entire panoramic vista of Horseshoe Falls. However, the American side has a lot to offer as well, so many people find it worthwhile to visit.
From the U.S. side, you may visit Niagara Falls State Park and see all three falls from various close-up vantage points, including Terrapin and Prospect Point.
If you're on the American side of Niagara and wish to go over to Canada, choose the Rainbow Bridge or the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge. These places are accessible by both automobile and foot.
