Is there such a thing as an eTA visa?
No. If anyone intends to visit Canada, you must obtain a visit visa or a Canada ETA (also known as electronic visa) before going. You cannot enter Canada for any purpose if you do not have one of the two previously stated permission documents. Since 2012, the Canadian government has made the ETA application online available to passengers from 62 countries. Nationalities qualifying for an ETA can utilize the website to receive one in a matter of days.
There will not be any alternative documents for travelers to enter Canada. If you do not have a valid Canada ETA, you will be denied entry at the airport border crossing. Otherwise, if you enter Canada illegally, you will be punished or placed on the blacklist, which contains persons who are not permitted to enter Canada. As a result, tourists may apply for an ETA to enter Canada lawfully in only a few minutes.
The Canadian government recently allowed each citizen to use the Canada ETA for tourism, business, and other purposes. Furthermore, the e-visa approval will be connected to your passport, so all you have to do is provide the ETA result and a passport for the Officer to inspect and stamp. Also, obtaining an ETA can shorten the time spent waiting for a visa on arrival.
