What happens to my personal information when I apply with the eTA?
When you apply for a Canada ETA, you are required to complete a form before moving to the next step. After providing all the information, your data will be sent to us in order to check whether your information is correct or not. If not, your application will not be processed, if it is correct, your application will be reviewed in 03 business days.
Travelers should take note that the fee can not be refunded because this fee will be paid to the Canada government to evaluate your application. Therefore, please be careful when providing your identification. Aside from the application, your information will be encrypted by our secure tool in order not to be leaked out for any bad intention.
After paying your Canada ETA application fee, you should receive an email confirming that your application has been forwarded to the government. Shortly after submitting the application form, the majority of applicants will get an email confirming that their application for a Canadian eTA has been granted.
Travelers are recommended to print your Canada ETA result at least two copies when traveling abroad. The reason is you must present your electronic visa to the Immigration Officers to stamp. The other one is used in case you lost the first one. Hope you can have a nice trip in Canada. If you have any questions, please contact Canada Immigration Services immediately for further assistance.
