Do Lithuanian Citizens need a visa for Canada?
No. People from these 76 countries and territories, including Lithuanian nationals, are excused from acquiring a visa while going to Canada for short trips. Nonetheless, as a Lithuanian, you must apply for a Canada ETA if traveling by air. The document may be requested online, and with the Canada Immigration Services website, you can have it in only 30 minutes.
This Canada ETA for Lithuanian citizens is valid for 5 years after the issued or until the passport expires. You have a Multiple entry and you can be in the Canadian territory for 180 days per entry.
Citizens of Lithuania, as well as other European Union members, must submit an electronic visa application before boarding an aircraft bound for Canada, even if they are simply transiting through Canada on their way to another foreign destination.
It is advised that Lithuanian citizens complete their eTA application 72 hours before their departure date. There is no need to print or present any documents at the airport, as the eTA is stored electronically against the passport in the Canada Immigration system
