Where to travel alone in Canada?

Banff, Alberta
This should come as no surprise. Banff is one of the world's finest single travel locations, and certainly one of the best in Canada. Banff offers a few hostels to select from, a plethora of pubs and cafés, and a lifetime of opportunity to experience the splendor of the Rockies. Solo tourists adore Banff, as seen by a quick tour of the town.
The Cabot Trail, Nova Scotia
The Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island is a Canadian road trip that you should do at least once. The scenery is breathtaking, and you'll want to stop now and again to take in the vista. Do you want some human contact? Stop at one of the charming bars along the road and thump your feet to the sounds of Cape Breton fiddle. (Again, summer is the greatest.)
Quebec City, Quebec
One of the most beautiful places in Canada, Quebec City is a great destination for solo travel. The locals are really friendly and will not hesitate to strike up a chat. While the majority of Quebec City residents speak English, knowing some French can make your vacation much more enjoyable.
Whistler, British Columbia
Another no-brainer, right? Whistler is brimming with activities and boasts a tourism infrastructure to rival any in the world. Whistler is one of the greatest locations to travel solo in Canada, with plenty of hostels, pubs, and a lively village to explore. Come in the summer for lakeside activities and walks, or in the winter to test your skiing talents!
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Halifax is an excellent choice for single travelers for a variety of reasons. The city is tiny and walkable. There are one billion bars (really hundreds). The cuisine is of excellent quality. Halifax is also rich in culture and has a unique marine charm that is difficult to replicate. The residents are incredibly nice, and there are several activities available around Halifax, such as visiting the neighboring beaches!
Montreal, Quebec
Montreal provides the best of all worlds for solitary travelers: obscurity when you want to be alone, and nice company when you want to socialize. The shopping is excellent, as is the food. The city's attractions are limitless, and with events all year, you'll definitely want to return to this wonderful city.
